DESCRIPTION:Join Savannah Tree Foundation for an evening Taxon Crawl through downtown led by ISA Certified Arborist and plant educator\, Kathryn Erickson. This beginner friendly experience is perfect for anyone curious about trees with no prior knowledge needed.\nWe will start with an optional happy hour at Savoy Society before walking to Colonial Park Cemetery\, where we will spend most of our time learning and exploring.\nParticipants will receive materials to create their own plant ID books and learn simple ways to identify common tree species. Lawn chairs are recommended for a relaxed and hands on experience.\nTake advantage of Savannah’s open container laws and bring a drink along for the walk.\nSpots are limited and advance registration is required.\nSign Up Here!
