Join us for Candler Care Day, an annual volunteer event dedicated to preserving Savannah’s oldest tree, the Candler Oak. Help us maintain this historic landmark by participating in weeding and light maintenance around the tree’s base. It’s a great opportunity to learn about the tree’s history and the importance of urban forestry in our community. The event is open to volunteers of all ages (children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult). Come out, get your hands dirty, and help us care for this treasured part of Savannah’s history!
