Volunteering with Savannah Tree Foundation is a fun and fulling way to learn about Chatham County’s trees and to give back to your community. Volunteers are crucial to our ability to plant and maintain trees–we’d love to have your help! Most volunteer events are conducted during tree planting season (October to March), but we will have some events outside of that window as well. All ages welcome! Children under 15 years of age require a parent or guardian present.

*Due to the ongoing and evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, we expect volunteer events to be less frequent in 2020-2021. Any events held will be outdoors, socially-distant, and will require participants to wear masks. Please contact the office for additional information.
Savannah Tree Foundation needs your help to continue our mission to protect and grow Chatham County’s urban forest through tree planting, community engagement, and advocacy.
