3rd Annual Green Gala
Join Savannah Tree Foundation as we gather in the heart of our iconic urban forest to celebrate our trees and honor our 2024 Tree Champion, Audrey Platt.
Enjoy an eco-friendly evening with cocktails, a sustainably sourced four-course dinner, live music, and a silent auction in support of our mission.Â

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the dress code for the event?
We recommend festive attire for an outdoor affair! For men, suits are preferred and tuxes are optional. Many ladies will be in long dresses, but cocktail dresses and pantsuits are wonderful, too. As a reminder, it is an outdoor event that takes place partially on the grass, so plan your footwear accordingly.
We can’t wait to see you in your fancy threads!
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We strive to have options for all our guests. We will have a vegan option for both our hors d’oeuvres and main courses.
If you have food allergies or other dietary restrictions, please email info@savannahtree.org with more information.Â
What are my parking options for the event?
Ardsley Park has plenty of on-street parking surrounding Tiedeman Park. For convenience, we offer a valet service at the Washington Avenue entrance to the park. All sponsorship packages include two free valet passes.
We also encourage ride-sharing and carpooling to reduce emissions–go green!
Why "Green Gala?"
In addition to honoring our trees, “green” also refers to the sustainable practices we implement at this event. From compostable serveware to digital programs to a robust recycling program, we strive to make this the “greenest” event in town.
With your help, the last two Green Galas have only produced four bags of trash each–wow!
Who can I contact with any questions?
Please email info@savannahtree.org with any questions. You can also call the Savannah Tree Foundation office at 912-233-8733. We are often in the field this time of year, so please leave a message and a staff member will return your call as soon as possible.Â
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope! That’s part of our “green” efforts. We will be able to check you in electronically by name at the event.Â
Is my ticket purchase considered a tax-deductible donation to the Foundation?
Ticket purchases are partially tax-deductible. Our event cost is $175/person, so $50 of the $225 purchase is deductible.Â
For sponsorships, any amount given beyond $175/ticket is tax deductible.Â
